Our Team

Bruce Kremer is the fourth generation of his family to be in the lighting industry.  He follows Pincus Burger his great grandfather and Morris Kremer his grandfather who owned and operated Eastside Metal.  Eastside made castings, spinnings, and other parts to the lighting industry.  His father, Louis Kremer, began working there after WWII and  orchestrated the sale of the company to Progress Lighting in the 70’s.  Louis then began a career as a consultant and worked for Staff Lighting, Nulco Manufacturing, Norwell Inc., and Designers Fountain.

Bruce has experience working summers jobs at both Progress Lighting and Nulco Manufacturing.  This has enabled him to better understand the manufacturing processes of lighting and convey that knowledge to his customers so that they can in turn educate the consumer.

Dan Ehrhard has been in lighting since 1977, starting in the warehouse and eventually becoming the owner of a showroom.  Dan joined North East Lighting in 1991 becoming a partner in 1996.  With over 40 years of experience in lighting, working with designers, owners, specifiers, showrooms, and end users, Dan’s experience and knowledge makes him a strong resource for his customers and manufacturers.

Matt Poire is a Certified Lighting Specialist through the American Lighting Association.  He has been an integral part of North East Lighting as a sales representative for the past five years.  With over 28 years of expansive knowledge in sales, and the design of commercial and residential, Matt prides himself on the critical attention to detail of his customer and vendor needs.  His reputation, passion, and creativity make him a leader in the lighting industry.
